I'm currently an Army photographer, have been running my own side business for 5 years now, and specialize in just about everything and anything you could want for photography. Looking to get into more cosplay/digital art photography.

So, I'm looking around for new photo ideas. Whether it be graphic design, personal, or what have you, I'm looking for new ideas. I have a slenderman shoot coming up here (Stay tuned for that), but aside from that I'm running dry right now. Any ideas anyone has would be greatly appreciated!

I've got an account on there too, but sadly have had no bites 
Most the models want to be paid way more than I can afford right now, as not too many people buy their prints unless they themselves are in them.

I have no issue recruiting people who think themselves as models and sessions are a trade. I live in a one-horse-town and I say the term "model" loosely
My biggest success is with new members, I suspect the long term members are wanting mega bucks for their average looks.
Deviant Art is more or less a show case for work, with emphasis on number of views defining popularity and status. Porn helps to increase those stats. I used to have another account here on D.A. years back and received no physical offers but had a lot of global interest.
Same goes for Flickr.
I also have had success canvasing Facebook and with the support of a legitimate website, have had a few sessions with people...some accepting the role of a muse.

Thank you, that does actually. Right now I'm just using random strangers on the street, and friends at the moment, but that does make sense. I've got a flikr as well, but I use that as well more for showcasing. Thanks though, I really appreciate the advice, and I think I'll give ModelMayhem another go.
